With the Schools Division thrust to improve performance in terms of quality of outputs, a reshuffling of school heads was implemented from July 20-22. On said dates both the installation of new Public Schools District Supervisors and Turn-over Ceremonies for school heads affected by the reshuffling were simultaneously held in 16 districts.
Pursuant of DepEd Order 7 series of 1999, school heads who have served five years in their assigned school must be transferred to other schools. This is to ensure a fresh air of leadership in schools and at the same time, expand the leadership horizon of school leaders. Meeting new people, new workmates and stakeholders is always a way to continuously improve and attain excellence in school management.
OIC Schools Division Superintendent, Dr. Jeanelyn A. Aleman said that moving of school heads provides an opportunity to share knowledge, management skills and best practices with other schools.
The said installation and turn-over ceremonies were witnessed by both LGU and PTA officials and teachers, with no other than SDS Aleman herself leading the ceremonies.
