Ipil, ZSP: Krishele Heart Ceniza and Rommel P. Asis both from SLC 1 produced a superlative performance that made them bagged the gold during the championship game in the badminton elementary, girls and boys category during the conduct of Provincial Meet held at the Provincial Capitol Multi-purpose building, March 25.

                Ceniza had a close fight with opponent Darl Niña Beton of SLC 3 during the first set of the game with a score of 21-19 in favor to Ceniza. However, on the second set the latter advanced to a score of 21-10. 

“I am so happy that I got to win the game and I made my coach and parents proud”, Ceniza said after the game. 

On the other hand, Rommel Asis undoubtedly smashed his opponent from the same SLC, Justine Clorion with the scores 21-11 during the first set and 21-17 in the second set. Asis exerted so much effort to win the game and bring home the gold. 

                Along with Asis, Justine Clorion-SLC 1, Jazlim Jims M. Facelo-SLC 3, John Rafael S.Grengia-SLC 1, will represent boys category. Together with Ceniza, Darl Niña H. Beton-SLC 3, Lovely Janine Acut and Heartzel Mandar both from SLC 1 will represent girls caterogry. Mentioned names will be advancing to the Regional Meet and will bring the banner of Zamboanga Sibugay. 

Moreover, other players from different SLCs were eliminated through a single elimination rule. And the       official coach in both categories were determined if who won the gold.
